This little piggy, Hamlet, learned to conquer his fear of stairs.

Not only adorable, but also inspirational.

I LOVE the show Princess Jellyfish...well, obviously I love it. It's about a girl who is shy, awkward and obsessed with jellyfish. The past few weeks, this show has been a great tool for calming me down.

Stranger Than Fiction is one of my favorite movies. I absolutely love Harold Crick's character introduction in the beginning of the film.

It isn't often that I character's way of thinking is visually displayed and the director did a wonderful job. I was so giddy the when I saw this movie for the first time!

I love having such a visual mind <3

I spent today recovering from 3 meltdowns yesterday. Still feeling very "ugh." But I did get to enjoy watching Princess Jellyfish today!...For the first time in english! Tsukimi is totally the animated version of me, yay!

Throughout the day I tried to, diligently, ignore my to-do list that I knew I could never complete on a "recovery day."

Note: This is a sketch, not my actual to-do list. I write my to-do lists in english :-)

I congratulate myself for NOT doing my to-do list! Usually I give in to the list. I resisted compulsively doing it because I knew it would prolong this 'recovery day' into 'recovery days.'

I also spent the day still adjusting to owning jellyfish. I am not in shock anymore :-) Plus, they are healing. When my jellies first arrived, they were in bad shape. All 3 jellies had multiple holes/tears in their bells. The last 2 days they have been healing up nicely! I must have good jellyfish instincts! I love my jellies!

Exhausted & exhausted,

I enjoyed a visit to Seattle Art Museum (SAM) about a week and a half ago with my very good friends Sam, Eric and by boyfriend Robbie. It is really great that SAM has their permanent collections admission by donation! That way even art lovers with very little money can enjoy the art. I took some very interesting photos. My favorite exhibit was the Australian Aboriginal Art

I went to visit my older sister yesterday in Tacoma. I got there and exploded into a meltdown. On my drive there I took several wrong turns which made me late, which triggered my meltdown.

My sister was so nice and knew just how to handle me until I could calm down. Because of that, I calmed down very quickly and we were able to make our movie on time!

We saw the new Studio Ghibli film The Secret Life of Arrietty. I recommend it!
Besides the meltdown, I had a great day with my sister. She even helped me prepare for a haircut....which ended up being a four-person haircut thanks to my strange way of communicating <3

We cut off 18 inches in the back!!! I have been processing through the possibility of a new haircut for months! Finally! And I love it <3 An artsy haircut for an artsy person.

Here is my favorite display of sarcasm and the confusion that can come along with misunderstanding it.
